A stunning large round neon luminescent aurora opal doublet has been set in sterling silver with a handmade ring band from sterling silver half dome wire. These stones are just stunning with an overall bright neon colors and a mountain silhouette that has been carved from wood and inlayed into the aurora opal doublet. These stones are 25mm in size with a height of 6mm. The 4mm wide half dome band has been hand hammered as an additional detail. This is a simulated opal with a domed clear quartz top making it an elegant but edgy doublet gemstone ring.

Please take this ring off while washing your hands as soap and water can cause damage to the stone. A doublet is composed of two pieces of material, usually cemented together at the girdle (the stone's widest part). So this is an imitation aurora opal with a doublet of clear quartz on top of the opal.
