Elegant narrow teardrops or pearshapes have been cut out of brass, flattened, then drilled with two varying sized drill bits to create these lovely earrings that look like the stars in the sky. The earrings have an organic element with a slight brushed look but still shine. They are very light, not at all heavy and measure about 1 3/4" in total length (including ear hoop). The ear hoops are handmade from 14 karat gold filled wire and soldered securely onto the back of the teardrop. The earwire is 18 gauge. These are a little earring, comfortable to wear and hypoallergenic. A great modern day ancient yet elegant look.
