A stunning opalized yowa wood cabochon has been set in sterling silver with a handmade ring band from sterling silver rectangle wire. This opal wood cabochon has layers of blue and pink opal running throughout with bright flecks of green opal that pop from within and catch the light and sparkle. The ring band is handmade from half dome wire and has been hand hammered for an additional detail. This stone is 36mm x 20mm with a height of 5mm. Though it is a large ring, it is a light and easy ring to wear.
This ring is part of Gilded Bug Jewelry's new Topography Collection. When looking at the pieces in this collection, they are reminiscent of the view of the Earth's landscape from above. This particular stone brings to mind a bird's eye view of the mountains and lakes and rivers tucked within its valleys.
